"Everything needed," the verse says, "for life and godliness." What happens when it feels like life's needs aren't being met or when we fall short in our pursuit of godliness?
Consider the expanse of the earthly oceans God created and know that the width of His power and the depths of His mercy can surely overcome our weakness. He is able to provide and restore.
Prayer
Dear God in Heaven, please visit us in our place of need and immerse us in Your ocean of merciful provision. Thank you that there is a wideness in Your mercy like the wideness of the sea.
