Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
- Colossians 3:2 (RSV)
When contemplating the heavens, we behold breathtaking beauty and grandeur. The vastness suggests realms that surpass human comprehension - a God whose presence and power extend to a cosmos far beyond our own.
Let us look upward often and consider this awesome God. The One who authored the heavenly skies is the same author - and finisher - of our faith.
The sky is calling.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.*
"Man is made for the contemplation of heaven, and is in truth a heavenly plant, intended to come to the knowledge of God." // St. Clement of Alexandria
Reflect: Think about the most awe-inspiring experience you've ever had when stargazing. Talk out loud to the One who created that spectacular sky!
